England Athletics Disciplinary Policy and Whistleblowing Policy updated
Following on from the recently published Safeguarding policies, procedures and regulations, England Athletics has today launched the update of its Disciplinary Policy and Whistleblowing Policy.
These policies outline the way in which any individual involved in the sport of athletics in England can raise genuine concerns about suspected misconduct, wrongdoing or illegal or unethical behaviour without fear of reprisals. England Athletics is committed to investigating any allegations outlined within the scope of these policies to uphold standards of behaviour which are in place to protect all participants and promote participation for fun and enjoyment.
The new policies, in line with the National Safeguarding Regulations (PDF 200kB) give clear guidance on how all concerns in the sport are reported and managed with a zero-tolerance approach towards abuse and misconduct. England Athletics continue to work closely with UK Athletics on these matters.
